Next Text (2006) was a two hour performance designed for 1.60insurgent space and the city of Tirana, highlighting Short Message Service (SMS) as the cheapest and thus most used telecommunication system in Tirana.

Starting at the Central Train Station the artist walked in the city by following text messages with directions (left, right, straight, or back) sent to her mobile phone by strangers located in a bar in Tirana. Her position was visualised on a map, so that the strangers in the bar could see where she was going (as a moving line on a map) and interact with her in real-time. In doing so, she became a puppet, allowing other people and their knowledge, information and memory of the city to tell her where to go and what to see.

The performance investigated questions about control, chance, and communication. It was documented by video.
